Rolling Now (“we”) runs the Rolling Now app and website, a directory and community for film and photography crew. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Contact: hello@rollingnow.net.

What we collect

• Account details you give us: name, email address, phone number, profession(s), city, country, optional bio and links to previous work, optional profile photo, and your password (stored only as a salted hash).
• Content you create: posts (text, photos, uploaded videos, video links), comments, likes, direct and group messages (text, photos, voice messages), friend requests, groups, verification requests and reports you send.
• Device and technical data: if you allow notifications in the iOS app, your device’s push notification token, app language and platform, used only to deliver notifications and the app icon badge. A session cookie keeps you signed in. Our hosting provider processes IP addresses in server logs for security and reliability.
• Camera and microphone: used only when you choose to take a photo, record a video or record a voice message. Nothing is recorded in the background.

What we do not do

No advertising, no tracking across other companies’ apps or websites, no analytics or advertising SDKs, and we never sell your data.

How we use data

To create and secure your account (including email verification), show your profile in the Crew directory, deliver posts, comments and messages, send notifications you asked for, review verification requests, answer support requests, moderate reports and enforce our Terms.

Who can see what

Other members see your name, profession, city, country, photo, bio and posts. Your email and phone number are hidden unless you turn on “Show my contact”; accepted friends and the Rolling Now admin can see them. New accounts are reviewed by an admin before they can browse the Crew directory.

Service providers

Railway (hosting and storage), Zoho (email delivery) and Apple Push Notification service (notification delivery). They process data only to provide these services to us.

How long we keep data

Uploaded videos are deleted after 78 hours and post photos after 14 days. Messages, voice messages and chat photos are deleted after 7 days. Account details and text posts are kept until you delete them or delete your account. Sessions expire after 30 days. Moderation reports are kept as long as needed to keep the community safe.

Delete your account

In the app open My details (your profile) and tap Delete account, then confirm. This permanently deletes your account, profile, posts, uploaded media, comments, likes, messages, friend links and notification tokens. You can also ask us by email at hello@rollingnow.net.

Your rights

You can view and edit your details at any time in My details, download or correct your data, or object to processing by writing to hello@rollingnow.net. We reply within 30 days.

Children

Rolling Now is for professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We will post any change on this page and update the date above.
